What is menstrual cup?

The small, flexible cup is made of silicone or latex rubber.Instead of absorbing the flow, like a tampon or pad,it catches and collects it.

*How to wash the menatrual cup?

✔️Wash it with warm water.

✔️Use mild,unscented soap.

✔️Avoid using anti-bacterial soaps(as they contain many chemicals to destroy microbes).

✔️Boil the cup in an open pot of boiling water for (5 -10) minutes.

✔️Microwave for 5-8minutes in an open container with water.

This is to sterilize the cup, and it's also good for your hygiene. Although it is not necessary to boil it every day, a simple rinse with water will get the job done.

✔️They are way more comfortable to use. ✔️Once you get the hang of it,I believe you'll love menstrual cups.Simply rinse your cup and insert and you'll never experience that uncomfortable dry scratchy feeling you get with pads.

It comes in three sizes- S ,M, L

According to your flow, you can choose the size.

I have shifted to cups since a year, and never want to go back to pads now!! That's how comfy they are... You won't even remember you are on your periods!! There was a concern from few people though, that it will hamper your fertility, don't use it. Well, I'm pregnant with baby #2 even after using these, so I guess, it doesn't have to do anything with fertility. Just proper hygiene should be maintained and you are sorted😊
