No experience with kinetic sand as we live in goa :) but i reckon as other moms suggest - post 2.5 yrs when they stop putting things into their mouth! My child loved play dough and we still have so many sets. Now of course she makes her own slime!

My son never played with kinetic sand but I know friends who gave their kids at around 2-2.5 yra age

If kids eat sand and soil...they say calcium supplements are required. And also Deworm should be done. Yes...you can try. I always try things. As each kid is different.

But with kinetic sand she can make different shapes ad all. I will not leave her alone.

Ujjwal, my kiddo plays with the real sand since one year.. but always under our interferance.. so, if she dont keep things in mouth you can intro her now onwards.. after 2.5years usually toddlers stops keeping things in mouth unless there are not habituated...
