Let the baby adopt its natural position. Its better to just follow what they are comfortable with.

Make the baby lie on his back, and if u putting a blanket on him, make sure his hands are out, coz if his hands are in d blanket and the baby moves his hands while sleeping, he mite end up covering his face with the blanket
