What might be the reason behind not gaining baby weight My child was 3kg when he was born now he is 2 and half month and weight is just 3.7. He sleeps well as well fed well .. I had consulted doc too as per doc prescription he is having vitamin drops from last one month but it does not work out. Echocardiography and urine test were done its all good. Does low weight gain effect to the physical and mental health of baby?
Nothing like that, baby should double the birth weight by 6 months and triple by 12 months, take a 2nd opinion.
