hi mamta - pls hv a detailed discussion wth ur dr as fibroids hv a tendency to come back. each case is different. i hv had a myomectomy nearly 2 yrs ago. i had 2 very large fibroids. for 3 months u r not to lift anything heavy or do any vigorous exercise. i had to seek airport assistance to lift my laptop bag! they say 1 week bedrest after op - do take it. i worked from my bed in that week - not worth it :) otherwise u will rock and roll! i was walking and doing phsio on day 2 :) it was a laproscopy btw! good luck!
