Dear Just delivered,
I understand you weren't ready for the c-section as the baby was ready to come sooner than expected and that could've taken a toll on you.
Physical Recovery post delivery esp after c-section takes anywhere between 6-8weeks.Emotional recovery may take longer. This is the time for you to ensure a diet rich in nutrients as your body has gone through a major process and change and is depleted of energy so your food needs to be your priority.
Take rest as and when you can. These are your primary areas as you need to be healthy in order to look after your little one.
Meet your doctor and let her give you the green signal as to when you can resume regular activities ,exercises/light walk etc
Since you have just delivered about a week ago, there may be a range of emotions you are going through. If you feel low every single day for the next 2weeks, chances are you may have post partum depression and if you are unable to cope ,I'd suggest you meet a counselor to help you identify and develop a healthier coping style.

depression, post delivery is very common dear .. many will face it .. even I was in depression because I had to undergo emergency c section after suffering 14 hrs of labor pains.
Try to come out of this Asap, talk to your friends, watch tv, walk around I mean inside house, listen to music .. try to spend time with your hubby and baby ... you can share your feelings here .. we all r there ... don worry everything will be fine ...
