Firstly to manage gas and pain in your baby try making your baby burp after meals, massage gently on the stomach with two figures, try doing bicycle exercise with your baby's legs, to increase breast feeding, try breastfeeding from both the sides always, follow a healthy diet with green leafy vegetables, nuts, dairy products, eggs, lentils, beans, whole grain, fruits, and dried fruits. keep a adequate water intake. You can use back rest / reclining position for feeding as it helps baby feed better<br>

Hello Shelly, for increasing Breastfeeding, You should continue eating small meals with healthy snacks in between as Breastfeeding makes most mums very hungry all the time. Eat seasonal fruits and vegetables. Eat different pulses, milk and milk products like yogurt, paneer, buttermilk. Also if you are a non-vegetarian, do include fish and meat in your diet. Eat oil and ghee in moderation. It is very important that you continue to take your supplements regularly after checking with your doctor. Green leafy vegetables, peas, legumes and pulses, whole grain breads, dry fruits, seeds, eggs, lean meat, fish, paneer, melons, citrus fruits help meet a Breastfeeding mum's nutritional requirements In addition to the above, following foods are considered in boosting a mother's milk supply: - Methi seeds - Fennel seeds (saunf) - Garlic - Green leafy vegetables like spinach, methi, sarso saag, dill - Cumin seeds (jeera) - Gourds like lauki, tori, tinda - Lentils especially red masoor dal - Nuts like almonds and cashew Most importantly do drink 8-10 glasses of water Remember to eat in moderation and have a balanced meal including different kinds of foods.
