What to expect when you are expecting your second child?
Have you ever faced chills? When you saw that you are pregnant with your second child? Well if yes, then this post is for you.
My elder one was 10months old when i concieved again. Obviously i didnt want to abort. So i continued it. Thorughout the preganancy i only used to plan for my first baby, that how will i manage after delivery or when i am in hospital and to me my elder one was more important than my health. I just ised to wonder what is going to happen, is he going to accept the baby, will it affect his mental health or what???
Whatever i write today is completely true. When my second one was born my elder ones first reaction was "mumma meri kaka" he loved her the moment he saw her but to him she was more like a toy. There started the challenges for me.
Initial 3 months were very difficult. My elder one started hating her becsuse i breast fed the yiunger one.
The best you can do intially is to hold your elder one for the maximum time cos little one doesnt need anything other then milk. Her requirements are limited. Give all the time you can to your elder one and help him love the younger one.
After three months the younger one also demands your attention. In this stage your spouses role is very important. Let both of you handle both of them for the next few months do that none of them feels the need to be loved.
When your younger one is 10months or more she is stable now. Ready to play with big sibbling. Always make your elder one feel that the younger one is his responsibility. Let him play with her. Let him teach her things. So that they develope the sibbling bond. Dont shout too much at the elder one or ask him to give everything to the yiunger one. He will fight for the toys that he dsnt even really want. Let him be. It will only be worse if you snatch or shout. The younger one still dsnt recognise his so let the elder one take advantage.
When the yiunger one is finally 14months or above they already have developed the bond and can fight for herself. My younger one now is 15 mnths and elder one is going to be 3. Theres nothing more beautiful then there bind now. When my elder one returns from the school now my younger one litrally jumps on him and kisses him everywhere. Its a pure bliss to watch them together. If i shout at my younger one sometimes my elder one shouts at me to not shout at his baby.
We all have phases in life when we're scared but no matter how much your parents love you or your friends but the bond that you have with your sibllings is beyond words. They are there for you when no one else is. Because u have grown up together, faced challenges together, known the limits together.
Whosoever is reading this please avoid all the second thoughts and go for your second one. You will be amazed to see the beautiful relationship growing stronger and stronger day by day. You will be frustrated and feel like refree all day but thats worth it!!! #2under2mom #bbcreatorslcub

Really helpful. My second one is due next month, and all I worry about is my elder one, will she be able to cope? Will I be able to manage both? My most of the concern is that my daughter shouldn't feel left out, since my most of the time would be spent with my younger one in the beginning. Although the difference would be 3 years, and since I knew about my pregnancy, I've been prepping her for it, but obviously, words and reality are very different. Let's see what happens... Fingers crossed 🤞🤞
