. . ❤️ WHATS IN MY LUNCHBOX TODAY MUMMA? ❤️ . Every morning, I get asked this and there is an instant reaction from her. It’s either a wide grin, an excited ‘wow’ or sometimes a lukewarm response. There are times when I get requested for something that she wants and the joy of seeing it in her snack box the next day is absolutely adorable! 😀 . Her preferences have been changing a great deal. She is game to trying out new varieties, so experimenting helps. But for the ones that don’t get approved, I get a very serious “I didn’t like it” and I move on to testing out something else. . I prefer giving her dry and easy to handle items for her to eat mess-free. Since it’s just a little snack break, it’s normally the below varieties: ✔️ Pancakes, Chillas, Mini Dosas, Uttapams, Idlis ✔️ Appams ✔️ Chapatti Rolls, Parathas ✔️ Home made laddoos ✔️ Buttered Sweet Corn kernels, Chana ✔️ Stir Fried Veggies, Paneer cubes ✔️ Fritters, Cutlets ✔️ Foxnuts, Dry Fruits ✔️ Cut Fruits . I strive to experiment and offer nutritious yummy finger food. When she began with playgroup last year, she used to come home and ask why X,Y,Z eats biscuits, chips etc when we don’t give those things. Those kind of questions are the trickiest to tackle. And we have had several conversations about them. . Now she just concludes how X is a bad child because he / she eats all that The fact that her teachers have validated the same has helped in her believing it all the more. But it still invariably keeps coming up. 🙂 Do you face the same? . What do your kids prefer in their lunchboxes? What snacks do they enjoy the most? . . . #toddlerlunchbox#preschoolerlunchbox#snackbox#BBCreatorsClub#Mishmummasays#theblogofbabymishka#nutrition#tiffinideas
