when a baby is born are there any screening tests performed in hospitals now a days. I've heard from somewhere that it does within 48 hours of birth. please share your valuable experience momies.

screening for hearing takes place in majority hospitals..they also check for some reflexes like babinski, moro etc..few places they might check if baby has any high risk factor among the high risk register...they also check APGAR score to cgeck baby's wellbeing ...
