i have heard that around 1 year, babies suddenly start nursing like a newborn. could be a growth spurt. feed well before sleeping...

dear Sheetal , if ur baby is 1 yr old and u have started solids .check for any illness like.cold or.fever . if the baby is not sick then.there sud.be no reason.he cannot sleep well. can u tell me his day routine alsi is he.breastfed or formula . n how he used to sleep <u>before</u>

Hi Sheetal, Well, There could be three main reasons for lesser sleep. <br> 1) Gas problem is very often in babies. I would suggest you to start giving non alcoholic gripe water thrice in a day . Also start colic aid drops before feed at least two times in a day. One more thing, give spasmindon drops two times in a day to prevent tummy ache. Moreover, give a lot of tummy time too. Last but not least massage with coconut oil in circular motion near the naval. 2) May be ur baby feels hungry.&#160; Her tummy may be not full.&nbsp; Always offer healthy dinner like khichaddi with ghee,&nbsp; cerelac,&nbsp; mashed chapati with dal, veg pulao with curd,&nbsp; parantha with curd etc. one hour before to sleep.&nbsp; Sing songs,&nbsp; do massage, she will definitely get a sound sleep. Feed her milk while sleeping with the feeder. <br> 3) May be there is irritation on her gums due to teething.&nbsp; So apply any gum pain relief gel on ur baby's gums.&nbsp; <br> I hope this suggestion helps you a lot.&#160; If problem still persists then please consult with your doctor. <br> Take care dear. every baby is different.Mostly babies get settle after 2 years.Before that they go through lot.of growth spurt.This can be due to this reason as well.Breastfeed as much as possible &#128522;

same prob vid me..&nbsp; i give her soild food before 1-2 hrof her sleep and se takes bm before sleeping and she get up at every 1.5hr or sometimes more frequent.&nbsp; she doest take top feed. what to <u>do</u>
