So here is some info about....go through
What is spotting during first trimester ???
Bleeding during pregnancy is common, especially during the first trimester, and usually it's no cause for alarm. But because bleeding can sometimes be a sign of something serious, it's important to know the possible causes.
CAUSE:-
1) IMPLANTATION BLEEDING:-
may experience some normal spotting within the first six to 12 days after you conceive as the fertilized egg implants itself in the lining of the uterus. Some women don't realize they are pregnant because they mistake this bleeding for a light period. Usually the bleeding is very light and lasts from a few hours to a few days.
;2)MISCARRIAGE:-; ; is most common during the first 12 weeks of pregnancy, it tends to be one of the biggest concerns with first trimester bleeding. However, first trimester bleeding does not necessarily mean that you’ve lost the baby or going to miscarry. In fact, if a heartbeat is seen on ultrasound, over 90% of women who experience first trimester vaginal bleeding will not miscarry.
3)ECTOPIC PREGNANCY:- A pregnancy which occurs in the fallopian tubes may result in spotting and is a medical emergency. 4) INFECTION OF THE CERVIX:- • Cervicits refers to inflammation of the cervix and is most commonly caused by infections. These infections can be caused by sexually transmitted infections such as chlamydia, gonorrhea, trichomonas, or genital herpes, or non-sexually transmitted infections such as bacterial vaginosis. Cervicitis may also be caused by irritation from a diaphragm or an allergy to the latex in condoms.
WHEN TO CALL YOUR DOCTOR????
Spotting is considered a light or trace amount of pink, red, or dark brown blood. You may notice spotting when you use the washroom (restroom) or see a few drops of blood on your underwear. It will be lighter than your menstrual period. There won’t be enough blood to cover a panty liner. Spotting is different from heavier bleeding, where you’d need a pad or tampon to stop blood from getting on your clothing. Seek emergency care if you experience heavy bleeding during pregnancy
