Whenever I breastfeed my baby who is one month old chokes a lot and it's very painful for me to watch her choke. Why does this happen? What do I do to prevent it.

A baby that small is still understanding how to take in her food... And similarly ur body is trying to understand ur child's needs and produce milk accordingly...
He may be hurriedly drinking or maybe the flow is too much for him... In this case if u feel ur breast is hard, it means it's full, hence u can express a little and then offer the baby, so the flow won't be too much for him to choke... All d best

hi dear... baby must be hurriedly drinking milk or your milk flow must be too strong. try to feed baby at lesser intervals between feeds. if milk flow is too strong, try expressing milk before feeding baby. if still it does not help, consult a lactation specialist...
