I used an Avent manual breast pump. It worked well for me. It totally depend upon your usage. Electric surely is less time consuming

I used a manual one . . It takes longer but works; . . I only need it for the mornings . . So I didn't buy; an electric one

It depends on your usage. Mine I used initially for just 1-2 months to express extra milk out. I don't used much. So I used ordinary manual pump. If you want to pump out frequently and also have the intention to store and feed baby, then go for electric one. Farlin is a good company in general.
