Yesterday I came 2 know about the coming polio ie,; on 28th Jan.; This will b my lols first polio.; I m having so many doubts regarding this.
i) how will v come 2know about the polio dates?
ii) before discge itself v took bcg with that polio was also taken.; So should my baby take this coming polio too?

hi merline - you need not take right now as your baby would've been administered. do remember to consult ur dr as to when you need to start going for pulse polio drops. everyone comes to know because it's announced in the newspapers and big banners are around. polio sunday used to be every month - now it's ever quarter or so. don't worry at all. tc

Hi polio dates are announced every year by government and normally there are banners in city for the same.. you can also check with your doctor as they keep you informed... polio drops should be given to child till age of 5-6 years regularly

Dear Merline,Did your doc say not to take the polio drops on govt schedule for 6 months,if not then take it. These polio schedules are usually updated online at govt sites,so you can check that out.
