hi vasudha there was a lose loop around my baby's neck as well and I had a normal delivery.  I think once the head is pushed down the doc just takes the loop from around the neck.  while you are waiting for the baby to come,  keep a tab on the baby's movements. there should be around 10 in morning and 10 in the evening at least.  the min you feel baby isn't moving enough . see your doctor
