You know, some days I just turn to fb like a sarcastic or humorous ranting out loud in the hope that someone in the universe will get an ounce of what I feel managing my kids somedays. But those are not the fun days, and I have my days where being in a heaven could also be an understatement.

I went to pick the kids from school today instead of having them come back home by bus. I stood outside their class waiting for eye contact when one of my kids came running g to me even before the teacher could take an identification card from me. He came and he hugged me so tight... He was happy to see that it was his parents who picked him up today. He held my hand and gave me a top to bottom look. He said 'mumma you look so smart'. I smiled... I was in an outfit I had been hesitant on wearing for long. So that assurance from him meant to me.

Then he took my hand and his teachers hand and he showed me, FLAUNTED me to his teacher and he told her multiple times, look at my mumma, she's so beautiful, look at my Mumma teacher, she is so smart.

My heart just filled up so much. I don't think I have enough words to describe that feeling, the simple appreciation from someone who means the world to you.

My other baby got eye contact pretty late and missed some action but came running to us like he's just out of jail.

This is when I feel that nope, motherhood is not overrated. 😂😂😂
