are you having spotting or bleeding p/v..
and mean sac diameter-  MSD of >25mm with absent fetal pole indicates pregnancy failure (missed miscarriage)..  MSD of 16-24 mm without an embryo is suspicious for pregnancy failure, but not definitive. when the MSD measures 8 mm a yolk sac should be visible, however lack of a yolk sac is not an indication of pregnancy failure..
For a healthy gestation it is suggested that the mean sac diameter should be at least 5 mm greater than the crown rump length. The MSD increases by about 1 mm per day, however there is considerable variation in the rate of MSD growth, with overlap between viable and non-viable pregnancies. The diagnosis of pregnancy failure should not be made on the basis of MSD growth..

Dr.Shilpitha Shanthappa thank u. i m having spotting, there is a sch around 1.6cm. dr said spotting is because of that and it nothing to worry. but looking at the sac development, she said it didnt develop enough in the last 10 days, only 1.8mm increase, and hence it looks like an unhealthy preg. i asked her that i will wait for 5 more days. she said repeat the scan after 5 days for any development and do the needful.

Dr. Shilpitha Shanthappa

yes doc is right as sac development will be 1mm per day... but it is only 1.8mm in 10days.. so, lets see after 5days.. good luck
