Q:

Is it wrong to feed a 7-9 month old baby juices or thin, pureed foods using bottle? (Particularly if the baby has been on formula, not breastfed at all and is weak overall) Does it affect baby's health or eating habits in some way?

A baby who is seven months plus is able to eat semi solids with a spoon. With a bottle you will need to really water it down and that means you are compromising the nutrition value. Eventually baby has to eat with a spoon and hence better to get done with bottle habit as early as possible.

I would personally recommend you not to use the bottle for food... It's adviced to make the baby eat with a spoon.. This is not just a way to feed the baby, but is good for the overall development of his motor and gross skills... I'm sure you would soon want your baby to start holding the spoon and start eating on his own... My girl makes me feed her food one time n the second she tries herself... It may get messy, but is more fun and at the end your child is eating the natural way
