yes by sitting in sunlight for 20 mins just after having bath in morning..
try to take vitamin D from sunlight before 12 pm.

No there is no way to prevent new born jaundice during pregnancy. It happens because the baby's liver is still immature and unable to process the bilirubin. During pregnancy the moms liver is doing this function. Post delivery it is important to feed the baby frequently. The more the baby feeds the more will be urination and the poop and this will wash out the bilirubin. Exposing the baby's skin to morning sunlight will also help.
During pregnancy you can sit in the sun but this will improve your D3 levels.

morning before 8-8:30 am is best because at that time the sun's rays are not harsh and will be comfortable. However D3 can be obtained all thru the day.
