Dr. Shilpitha Shanthappa
30mm is quite in higher side for short cervix... The average cervix length is 4 to 5 cm, and it is expected to shorten as you get further along into your pregnancy. at 24 weeks gestation, the average cervix length is 3.5 cm. When cervical length is less than 2.2 cm, women face a 20 percent probability of preterm delivery.. so please take bed rest, avoid strenous work.. and consult doctor ASAP..

30 mm is fine. though lower normal. dont worry.
if cervix shortens or opens up then its a concern. till then ur fine. dont strain.
Dr Charmi Thakker Deshmukh
the cut off for abnormal cervical length is 2.5cm. however there are other factors like whether the Os is open or no or there is any funelling.
my cervix length is 51.5 mm.....is it normal or need to worry?
dr said its normal, cut off is 2.4cm, n my internal os is closed so no need to worry
