I have a
1 year old baby
sitting for prolonged hours is not good in normal scenarios too..after every half an hour just get up of your seat and take a little walk for 5 min..rotate your feets in circular motion while sitting. Keep your legs elevated..you can request a foot rest in your office.
My nature of work was also same. first of all you have to inform your colleagues about your pregnancy like team mate or manager. you can walk around your floor or outside your building,you walk to a cafeteria and have your lunch instead having it in the pantry. Make an habit to walk for 10 minutes for every 2-3 hrs. Morethan that talk to your gynecologist about your work and ask her for suggestions. Because I was told to do physical works in 2nd trimester which I took it serious and continued it till 3rd trimester. I use to climb stairs,go for a half-hour walking which unfortunately resulted in preterm delivery. so first check with your doctor about your body condition and make timings for yourself in between your work to walk or do any physical activity.
