Priya

Hello pooja. Both are equally effective. One is lesser painful and may not cause subsequent fever. Why You Should Never Miss Your Child's Vaccination? is a very good read in addition.

.Hi Pooja , as Priya mentioned both type of vaccination are effective. However ,i gave the painless vaccination for my son simply bcoz I didn't want him to suffer . though he was a little cranky for the next two days it was manageable . his doc had given meds which I gave as prescribed. There r many moms who do give painful injection for their babies . Personally tomm if I had to take any vaccination myself then even I would prefer a pain free one then y should I give a painful one for my child. Even the doc recommended the painless one so we went as per the docs advice.

As Priya Sood said, if both type are effective, then y painful, go for painless, and another thing don't skip rotavirus and pcv....Some pead don't have them on their list...so opt for private clinic

Neeta Nihale

hello Priya Sood thanks for the tag.. but I don't have any idea about painless vaccination.. but as I can see my baby when he gets vaccinated I didn't see any symptoms that is unbearable for my baby.. he is calm.. yes he had little fever but controlled by prescribed medicine...
I don't want to be a  overprotective mommy...

Pooja Singhvi

i gave my child painful vaccination..he cried for sometime and i gave him doc prescribed medicine for fever..as Jyoti Tengale said dont miss  rotavirus n pcv..as they are providing in private hospitals..last time i put the vaccine on military hospital where they never put and again i went to private clinic for rotavirus..so choose proper clinic and vaccinate u r baby

Radha priya

pain with vaccination says that it is doing well... n painless must hav some extra composition to protect the child from pain....... Dont know that extra is how much cool for the baby... n ofcourse i also don't  want to b overprotective @Neeta Nihale... child should learn to b earning immunity.....

Priya

Hope this helps Pooja Singhvi
