Hi Kanchan. Any changes in diet or weather? It could be gas to do ensure post feed baby is burped well. How should you Burp your Baby? is a good read.

Sheeba Vijesh

is your baby teething?

Tamanna Shah

it could be due to the weather. it's hot and a baby looks for milk for staying hydrated

i started giving her cow milk as breast milk is not sufficient but she wants breast milk only. and temperature is also maintain. what could be the another possible reason?

kanchan somani

yes my baby is teething. her gums are swollen.

kanchan somani

is it a possible reason that she may get hungry in ni8.??

hi kanchan her teething cud be one of the issues. pls get her some teethers. also she wants breast milk at night - that is one issue :) all babies want to feed in the middle of the night.

sonam patel Aditi Manja pls advise

if she is teething, she will be fussy... she must be demanding breastfeed for comfort, not due to hunger....

hi kanchan. my baby is also doing the same from past 3 days. her gums are swollen alot now. during day time also she used to bang her mouth with diff diff things. that can be the reason for not sleeping well.. try to give her carrot, cucumber long piece to chew on. this could ease pressure on her gums. and as sheeba said she wants to breastfeed during night for comfort not for hunger.

hi usually around this time some babies start cutting through their first tooth. mine one also did the same and few days later her teeth were erupting. so instead of offering milk. offer her some teethers.u can keep the teethers in the fridge and give cold ones. it gives them relief as it numbs the pain and itching. if u don't have teether. take a clean cotton cloth wet it with cold water water remove the excess water and let ur baby chew on it for sometime when she cries. it can also be growth spurts. when ur baby gets up crying try to pick her up pacify her and maybe dry massage her legs and try to make her sleep without distracting her much. it usually works for my baby. and of course also rule out the gas issue.
