Q:

my baby two months old.due to lactose intolerence my doctr said to me stop breast feed for temporary and give zerolac.is it necessary to stop brst feed.

Sheeba Vijesh

are you drinking cow's milk?

Sonali Shivlani

Sometimes the symptoms like upset stomach or blood in the stools or vomiting will stop once the mother stops all intake of cows milk. Please discuss this option with your doctor. If you stop breast milk for a short time your supply will surely reduce. If the doctor is expecting you to resume nursing then it will become difficult. Lactose intolerance does not disappear in a few days. I would also consider a second opinion.
