m working for 8 hrs on job . is it safe for me. how should I schedule the whole day for myself so that my baby will not get any harm?

hai Kavita Kajla Mehlawat Congrats on your pregnancy 😃 As a working women first of all you need a proper diet and sleep. coming to your working hours schedule, not aware what kind of job is yours. if you are going to sit for 8 long hours, you just need to walk in between every 30 mins. you can follow few little things that will have a greater impact. walk to your pantry to fetch water. have more liquids in between. Though you are carrying your food walk to a food court and have lunch there instead of having it in your desk or pantry. Find out if there is any group or forum for pregnant employees in your organisation. you might have events. I had yoga classes weekly twice at my own office. follow correct sitting posture while you work. meet up friends have a small talk that will refresh you. find out all facilities offered by your organisation. there are few companies that even has an dormatory for pregnant employees where you can rest for sometime. Make expecting mummas in your company as your friends. share your experiences with each other. It really gives you a positive energy. more of all,stay mentally stress free. you are gonna rock. hi kavita, each case differs. so its best to share everything with ur dr and seek her advice. a lot depends on commute time, hw u commute,whr do u stay, what kind of work etc etc. just be sure to eat regularly and dont exert urself. Gayatri Rao Sangeetha Karuna any advice?

Kavita Kajla Mehlawat, as asha chaudhry said, each person differs. And their gyno know the exact condition. Better get an advice from your gyno. Normally 8 hours is good. But you have to take regular intervals. Like every 30  min, drink some amount of water and walk to restroom. Idea behind is that, if you sit continuously for an hour, your  body gets heated up. Similarly avoid a long travel atleast during the initial days. Enjoy your pregnancy dear☺️

i too had 8 hrs sitting job and i felt no problem ..worked for 6 months at my own pace. during 7th month i felt cramp in legs blurring of eyes . for that i put a stool to keep my legs elevated and for eyes i started taking break evry 20 mins. and eat healthy snacks at small intervals 2-3 fruits, dry fruits, some churmura types etc..keep ur mouth running :)

I worked 8 hours outside home for my first pregnancy and worked almost till the end of my term. I carried home made food and snacks and munched almost every two hours. Avoid outside food as much as possible. Do take short walk every half an hour. Wear comfortable cotton clothes and a good flat footwear. Try avoiding auto rickshaws. If you have no gynecological problems then its completely healthy to go out and work during pregnancy. Keeps your mind away from unnecessary thoughts and fears of pregnancy. Have a safe pregnancy :)
