Hi Aditi mam I had a normal delivery..nw its 6 months....I tried of going walking n yoga too bt my tummy isnt reducing...my weight is also increasing rapidly i ve gained 8 kgs after delivery...gained 10 kgs during pregnancy....I love to dress n my collections of dresses is still sleeping in my wardrobe...pls help me to reduce my weight...will b very grateful to u...

bhuvana- have you ruled out any thyroid issue? check once with your doctor. if there is no medical problem, then my only advice to you is be patient. weight loss takes time hun. start a proper routine and stick to it. we always feel like giving up when we don't see fast results.it took me one full year the first time to lose weight. since you are post 6 months you can start with some strength training too. so do 45 min walking  2 days a week, 1 day upper body, 1 day lower body. this could be yoga, Pilates, or resistance training with weights. Now comes the diet. Check your portion sizes. I bet you are having more than you need. I used to eat a lot till I realised it myself!  Reduce your portions by a third in every meal and have something small-for eg dry fruits, any fruits, some milk every 2 to 3 hours. Maintain a weight log every 3 days. Keep talking to yourself, you will get there I am sure :-)
