Aditi Manja Having undergone normal the first time and c-sec in the second pregnancy, I can see a vast difference in the way my belly fat has reduced. First time round it seemed very easy but second time it is very difficult to achieve the result I want. Is it due to age or is it really tough to reduce after c-sec? How can work more to concentrate on reducing the stubborn fat? Also can you suggest quick protein diets after workout?

Yes, It is difficult to tone the belly after a c section. And you are right, age also plays a bit of role. But it's not unachievable. Have you ruled out diastasis rectii? If you have that, then there are exercises specifically to reduce the condition. Also swimming is very effective. I have observed side planks and side plank dips are more effective than regular crunches after a c section. maybe you could consider that? HIIT is also very useful. But Since you have RA, you might have to consult your doctor first. Since you are into fitness yourself I am throwing in the words..haha! Regarding the diet -since you are a vegetarian, some good recipes would be- sprout chaat, any fruit smoothie with a scoop of protein powder (avoid any sugar here), oats upma, besan cheela to name a few. all of them are easy to make and very filling. Hope this helps! Tc :-)

Thank you so much Aditi Manja. It feels good to get advice from an expert. :) I'll work on that stubborn fat more. I do high intensity workouts once a week but I am always scared I'll hurt my knees. Thanks for the side plank idea, let me try it. I do normal planks usually. Thanks for the recipe ideas. Which protein powder do you suggest?
