hi ya u can start wit semi solids dear like fruits n vegetable purees ,dal n khichdi nicely cooked ,sooji kheer ,breast milk is always good
u can start with boild apple mong dal khichdi banana and paysam
Weaning Food Recipe (7 to 9 months)
u can give mashed apple,potato,ragi porridge ,moong dal. cooked ...if ur breast feeding then no milk is needed.
try to introduce the food by baby tastes..dont force..
fruits like apple,peer,banana, veggies like sweet potato, carrot , beet root are to good to start with as they are less allergic and easy to digest, in cereals try rice , brown rice is excellent you can make brown rice powder or you can buy via baby chakra of little moppat ,ragi is also availabk3 here ragi is a great source of calcium and is completely gluten free, oncebyiur baby adjust with veggies and fruits u can go with ragi porridge , then mashed rice, then try pulses - moong dal soup, toar dal thin soup. remember to giv3 one food at a time, always check within 3 days if baby is not developing any allergy, vomiting , rashes sign, indigestion then go ahead... read all articles in baby chakra it's very useful on weaning. salt n sugar should be completely avoided till next 6 months and if your bm is sufficient u can avoid formula also.
