Q:

hello everyone.
my baby girl is 3 months and 2 days. she is having severe gas problem. previously doc suggested colicaid drops thrice.. but sometines still she finds difficult to sleep and makes weird noises because of gas. so today i asked doctor again and he prescribed me colimex. when i searched on net for colimex its written that its been precribed for 6 months children n above. what shall i do m confused. shall i give colimex or continue with colicaid

Even my doc had prescribed colimex n I did give my daughter but I gave her only at night dat too during initial days (for 1st 15 days sometimes) since she doesn't hve any such gas issues now I don't give her

i giv colimex to my boy at age of 15 days doc suggested me

give colimax when colic is severe and colicaid isn't enough

I used to give my girls neopeptine drops...these r natural and no side effects...I would suggest u to ask ur doc if u can give that...it works wonders

Colicaid is mild and made of Ayurvedic or natural items. Colimex is a medicine. It can be given as per prescription. Give your baby some tummy time when the baby is comfortable and you are available to supervise. Gentle abdominal massage during the time when baby is comfortable can also help to relieve the build up of gases. If you are using a bottle discontinue the same as bottles also cause gas. Ensure that you burp the baby well after every feed for about five minutes.
