@nancy singh hi dear.. i m.mother of 19 month baby...i m not able to control my weight even i didnt eat extra ....i hv thyroid prob..take med n now in normal limits even though weight increases...my baby is very week my milk is not so effective for him...he doesnt take formulA n cow milk...his diet is very low...what can i do...m always tired n frustrated

Hi Jasdeep regarding your baby's diet, baby is taking your milk for comfort so dont worry about that, what all you offer your baby? Is the baby on family food whatever you all eat as family? Give varieties like idly, dosa, paratha, upma, daliya, oats, roti, kichadi etc encourage self feeding.

Ya use me oats daliya khichdi sab bna kr dekh chuki hu kuch bhi nhi khata ....vo just bread, kbhi chawal ..thodi pronthi , thoda dahi vo bhi kbhi kbhi, banana kbhi kbhi bus

Hope the Baby is taking outside food too..you can start cow's milk in the form of banana milkshake etc..Baby can eat khichdi , eggs , fish etc.
For weight stability and maintenance, you can have a proper diet .. avoid cheese and fatty food , eat lots of fruits and vegetables. Drink lots of water ..take lemon and honey in warm water in the morning first..
If you could do some yoga and 3kms of walk daily that would be great ...

First of all the key is happy mom raises a happy child . Congrats for continuing breastfeeding until now .its an amazing thing . Stop worrying about the quality of milk and concentrate on your health first . If you are taking medicines which isn't good in breastfeeding then probably try to wean off the baby. He is 19 months old that means he can very well eat all family food and there shouldn't be any dietary restriction . But remember not to force feed baby , never run after him with a plate in hand . Set up a time table for him just like how adults eat. It's all about lot of hit and trials with babies to decide what they exactly like . Even a spoonor two of food is a success. Keep trying If the baby is active then don't worry momma . Slowly he will get into habit of eating along with you. Please keep yourself active , eat in short spans, munch something healthy . Drink lot of water and at least do brisk walking. You have to maintain your sanity first in order to take care of baby well . Never compromise with your health no matter what . If you are healthy you can take care of baby in a better way .

I read ur question 2de ..so as I ve same prob .. my dd also had same thing.. smtyms it worried me bt smtyms I thought k it'll b fine with tym ...dese ans gave me also a relief k let d kid grow as dey lyk ., Never force dem to eat .....
