Q:

Due to episiotomy my doc has asked me not to sit crossed legs for 2 months. but it's very difficult to remember this while sitting for breastfeeding nd when I recall it it's very difficult for me to feed in any other position. 😅

Yesterday I went to hospital to get my stitches checked by doc. She told me that one stitch around the anus has got untied. She applied betadine and gave some medicines. Can anybody tell me what should i do in this case so that i can bf comfortably.?

hello...
yes doc has done right thing... in this case opt- put a soft pillow, rest your back and lean backwards slightly and keep the legs straight.. keep two to three soft pillows on your lap (it will give you good height) and place baby over pillow and start feeding... another option- same sitting pattern but make baby to  face your breasts and latch...

I had the same issue. It was very bad for initial one month. Try sitz bath. It really helps. Secondly try to lie down whenever possible to release the stress from that area. Hope u get well soon
