hi anon is baby too weak to suck? a few drops is not enuf for such a small baby. if dr has said baby cant suck, then pls get a pump and express milk. give by spoon & katori. pls consult a lactation expert. it is important to breastfeed ur baby. tc Sonali Shivlani Dr.Saloni Pahwa Dr.Shilpitha Shanthappa pls advise

baby is 2700 grm weight. first day he was on cow milk because i hd c sec . today im trying. dr said that u hv to feed him in such way. ok i vll purchase breast pump

hello..
for a newborn baby, a few drops is more than enough but make sure to do this every half an hour.. and everytime atleast 5-6 spoons.. and dont forget to burp baby...  and try to opt for comfortable position to train feeding.. use lots of pillows.. and use two fingers- fore finger and mid finger and clamp the aereolar part which helps to feed properly.. and use coconut or olive oil to massage nipple, remember to wash with warm water before feeding or expressing milk.. it helps in treating inverted nipple..

hi anon pls try to get him to latch ur breast too. i m a c-section mom. my baby was 2.83kgs. she was exclusively breastfed for the first 6 months. i hope u are walking around normally after op and not restricted to the bed. tc and pls keep us updated on the progress. and keep posting ur queries. much love & blessings to both of u!

hi it is important to ensure adequate latching. baby should enough milk to be able to sleep comfortably for at least 11/2 to 2 hours between 2 feeds. how much quantity of milk is needed can only be decided by the baby and judged by restful sleep between sleeps and adequate pee count. lactation expert will be able to help you with the latching issue.

hi anon...plz try give bf nly...

hi Harneet Khurana pls share ur latching chart. mny thnx!

im unable to walk on complete bed rest

try this technique,  also have u met a lactation consultant as yet ? feeding is a new experience for both mom and child and needs practise. keep trying and feeding. u both will get a hang of it. thanks asha.

thats ok. i also had a csection and was up in less than 24 hrs. if u r mentally strong,  ur body will support u.
