My 1 year old girl is not eating food properly. She eats only 2-3 bites with lots of efforts. And even she is not drinking any kind of milk except breastfeed. How to give food and milk to her. #babycaretips

Ladki ko sabse pahle doctor ke pas le jaiye

Hi Manisha, don't worry. It's very common with babies when they throw tantrums with food. You can present her food in an appealing way to her, while cooking, involve her in the kitchen. Let her see what all is used to cook a specific dish, keep talking to her n tell about various vegetables, spices n all. Let her pretend play in the kitchen with u. This way she will develop interest in food. Encourage self feeding. Cut down fruits, veggies, paratha etc in bite sized pieces n give to her. Show her how to pick up using fork n eat. Give her food and show her how to eat. Involve her in your mealtimes. when she sees everybody eating, she too would want to eat. If still she doesn't eat, let it be. She will eat when hungry. Offer milk in a cute sippy cup in attractive colours, so that she is interested in having a sip. I'm assuming since she has been mostly breastfed, she finds it difficult to adapt to having milk separately. It will take a bit of time, but she will soon get habituated. Hi Manisha first let us know what all you offer? Is the baby on family food? Are you offering whatever you all are eating as family?

I have tried each and every thing...purees, family food, different kind of fruits etc. But she is not interested in any kind of food.
