Hi My dear Mommies,  Rithanya has completed 6 months and she is ready for weaning. Now like other moms i m also in dilemma state what is the first food to give. Time interval...etc etc., Need all your support to achieve this milestone... pls advice...



u can read lots of articles related to weaning here.... personally I think whatever ur traditional weaning food items are there ..try wid day first...u know her feeding time according to that plan meal timings

first month is good with fruits, avoid mixing two as the Moto is to let the baby like different flavors....one meal in a day is enough...you can follow many articles here ... happy weaning mumma 😘

hi jai shri, if you get kannan kaaya at home then its the best first food. else go for nenthrakaaya/ nenthrapazham dried and powdered. initially you only need to give once a day, preferably in morning. do not introduce new foods later than afternoon...

initially it's best to start with fruits n veg purees, those which are less allergic n easy on baby's stomach plus nutritous like carrot ,sweet potato,peer,apple ,banana. in cereals first is brown rice after adjusting to this give ragi. then go for pulses - moving dal soup for first month is fine. three day test rule always apply before introducing new food..

Whatever food you introduce newly, try to give it to her in the day time dear. Happy weaning ☺️
