At room temperature 6-8hrs. You can refrigerate breast milk for three to five days and freeze it to keep it fresh even longer. Thawed breast milk will keep in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours (but don't refreeze it).

Store the expressed milk in a clean, capped glass or hard plastic, BPA-free container.

can we store breast milk in room temperature for 4hrs and then refrigerate it

you can do keep the milk in room temperature for 4-6 hours depending on the heat and humidity condition. you can refrigerate for 3-4 days. when you take it out, bring it to room temperature and give it to the baby.
