ihv c section delivry 1 month ago ihad gained 25kgs. to strt my weightloss journy lik fast walking exercses diet foods wil it affect me or baby health.wht is r8 time fr both of us to strt weightloss  how mny mnths it takes to cure frm csection stitches frm inside n outr skin kindly pls ans these questions this imp fr me ihate to c myslf too mch fat.



Hai anon. Once your gyno says that the wound have healed and when you feel that you have enough strength to begin your exercises, you can start. Make sure you feed baby properly. More you feed... more it will help in weight loss. Start initially with walking and stretching exercises. I prefer to diet after 6 months...when baby start having solids. Don't worry..many have reduced with strict exercise. aditi manja you ask Aditi to help you....and even can follow her profile for regular diet recipe and exercises.

it's too early to start any exercise..since you said you delivered just 1 month ago..do not start any heavy executive or long walks, prolonged standing, sitting in one position at least for 6 weeks..post that you can start with milk exercises and walks and after 6 months you can exercise..for loosing weight exclusively breastfeed your baby..breastfeeding is equivalent to walking 7 miles..just do that exclusively for 6 months..eat healthy..more of fresh fruits n veggies, good fats etc..avoid excess of ghee, oil etc..even when you feel hungry Binge on healthy snacks..I lost 20 kgs in just 4.5 months following this and no body was able to make out that I delivered a baby 4 months back via c section

I was eating everything in moderation starting with a fruit n milk and 4-5 soaked almonds and on breakfast veg sandwich or poha or paratha
for lunch dal chapati rice vegetable curd
snacks roasted Makhane or fruits
normal dinner..
I ate whatever I used to eat normally and when in between I used to feel hungry I used to eat fruits, dryfruits, Makhane, roasted Kala chana with gud..

give yourself 3 months recovery time before u start any weight loss program. eat nutritious foods now like methi laddoo, one spoon ghee a day, whole wheat parathas, fruits, green leafy vegetables, soups. you put on weight for Ur baby. breast feeding will reduce weight alot. go easy on urself n ignore the weight. after Ur 6 weeks post partum get checked by your gynaecologist and if she says ok then start slow core strengthening exercises. start with walking too. after 3-4 months of delivery start a gym routine/cycling/swimming. eat healthy and take your calcium and iron supplements

Hi Anon. Your body will gradually recover from birth and c sec. Do not rush and do note that you need rest. After 4- 5 months you can be more active

Please don't hate yourself. You've given birth to a beautiful baby. Things will take time but will turn good for you. I had I normal delivery and my total weight gain after delivery was 28kg. But I gave rest to my body. So, I want to you give atleast 5m. Few tips
- take healthy diet
- start walking after 3m
-avoid junk, fried
-Eat roasted food
-healthy sleep
-lots of water
-stressfree life
-Six meal funda

hi anon. I had replied to your question previously regarding the weight loss part and forgotten about it. but something made me come back to your query and read it again. what I couldn't miss was the hurry and how u hated being fat. please don't hate your body right now. it is  for a reason. I am a mother of 2 children both delivered by c section  I put on 18 kgs in both pregnancies. my second baby is only 5 months old. as a doctor I did not think much abt my weight but people around me made fun of my weight almost everyday.it was very upsetting but I would reply to them "if I diet , the baby diets". you have put on weight to nourish your child. don't go near the weighing machine and eat a nutritious diet. stay away from diet foods. cesarean recovery needs more food and nutrients. and the stress mothers take after delivery to lose weight releases many stress hormones in the body. these stress hormones makes it more difficult to lose weight. so be happy, feed Ur baby, don't look at the number of months since delivery. take up good eating habits and always ask Ur doctor to check u before starting any exercises. breast feeding is the best way to lose weight. the first 6 weeks are for rest. the first 3 months are for recovery and adjustment. so enjoy motherhood and Ur baby. this is the only time Ur baby will be so tiny and don't let the stress of weight loss make u miss out on these precious moments
