Can you pls tell me of epidural is dangerous? Does it harm the spine? Does it lead to c sec?

by giving epidural injection, they will only lessen ur pain in active labour so u will have more strength during the pushing time... sometimes it may lengthen ur labour bcz of the loss of sensation in ur lower body...and there are more chances of forcep has its own pros n cons
another thing: if u r pregnant plz don't think about episectomy epidural c section n all bcz it will make u more stressed n that's not gud for u at this point of time...just chill n relax... whatever has to happen will positive!!!

No dear I had to get three puncture done as I had emergency c session and with Labour I had to get it done do not think more and do not Google it will increase ur tension for no reason so plz relax and leave it on ur doctor

Not at all....I delivered my baby naturally after taking epidural. I was fit and fine.

Epidural is only to help you. Relax.

It is not dangerous .. But wanna share my personal experience .. That point of injection still pains after 10 months of delivery .. May be its not painful for many other moms .. But pray that u have a normal delivery without any epidural

I've taken epidural for the birth of my boys exactly two years apart.. Absolutely no problem.. Take good care of yourself, get massage and eat some edible gum laddoos (they really work with your backache, if any) in your postpartum time

epidural has its own pros and cons..and has some side effects as well and majorly taking epidural leads to c section go through your choices carefully and than decide..I was given epidural after inducing labor for almost 24 hours..and ended up having an emergency c section..
It is not dangerous though and does not harm your spine..don't Google much ..n ask your doc for your options
