hello friends...I m first tym pregnant...8th month is running...I have one question in my mind..normal delivery k baad doctors vagina me jo stitches lagaate h...us tym hm hosh me rehte h to kya stitches lagaate tym hmko pain nhi hota hoga?..🤔🤔..

Its mine also first pregnancy... but i heard frm my frnds ki stitches lagate tym pain ka pata nai chalta qki delivery ka tym itna pain hota h n tat place become senseless aftr baby is out.... Maina toh yehi sunna h...

One of my frnd who hd normal delievery says she could actually feel the needle piercing into the skin...n it was so painful
For me it sounds so fierce...i dont know us tym kitna pain bear kr pate hain..
goodluck dear tc

Reshma Nagrani...actually yes same as I have heard from my friend too...she was telling me that she felt every single stitch....was so painful

Gurpreet Kaur....actually u r also right dear...my sister in law told me about her delivery...she was saying after delivery her lower body become senseless so she has not realized any kind of pain due to stitches...

means har lady ki delivery alag alag hoti h....kisi ko pain hota h kisi ko nhi

i am 35 weeks ...i had asked the same question to my doc..she said during episiotomy they apply local anaesthesia in the area where they cut. also by that time that part of your body is so stretched out that it should not hurt.

Dr.Shilpitha Shanthappa wud be a better person to answer this one

Ambika Joshi...thank u so much dear but "where they cut" means?...do doctors cut that part for baby to come out?

it is called as episiotomy... it is an incision of the perineum and the posterior vaginal wall.. that will be not painful as we make sure to do incision after giving good amount of local anaesthesia.. and stitches will not be painful but yes it can be felt like someone is dragging skin...

ok thank u so much Dr.Shilpitha Shanthappa...know I came to know very clearly😄😄
