First of all take a lot of water during the day. Try to take atleast 4 litres of water everyday. Secondly, drink cold unflavoured milk or coconut water on empty stomach. Thirdly, take gelusil for instant relief. Lastly, avoid spicy and fried foods.

The standard answers are eat small meals don't have long gaps between meals and avoid oily and spicy foods. A quick home remedy is water plus cooking soda plus lemon juice. This can help relieve acidity. Also try drinking a little shot of cold milk to relieve the acidity.
