Q:

I have done my pregnancy test n it is positive. I am getting pain in abdomen like the menstruation pain sometimes during night time and am not able to sleep. Is this normal? I consulted the doctor but he says it happens but I am worried. Please guide me as to what care is to be taken n whether i can take any pain killer or not??

Do not take a pain killer. These are common pregnancy discomforts and if it is mild and manageable then it could also actually be in your mind. When you are pregnant the first time you tend to become overly aware and hence feel every little thing in a higher proportion. Do read my articles on Pregnancy week by week as it will guide you with Do's and donts and also warning signs to watch for.

I had this pain for full 3 months. You can use hot water bottle to get some relief.

Also do not use painkillers until it's unbearable. My gynie suggested crocin
