Q:

when actually is the baby considered due ? i see many would be moms whose due date is in a day or two abd they are 38 weeks pregnant. wherein my due date is given after 40 weeks. which one to consider ?

at 38 weeks the baby is full term and generally considered the go ahead to deliver. 40 weeks is the calculated due date for the baby. Most women naturally go into labour between 38-42 weeks.

doctors have their calculation on this...from your LMP 40 weeks...Dr.Shilpitha Shanthappa can help you if you can share your LMP

hello..
all due dates are calculated for 40weeks.. usg reveals edd based on growth of fetus which may be 38-39 weeks difference..
