Anonymous Post: Be Supportive
Dear mommies,
I have something serious to ask about. Mum of a 8 month old beautiful daughter and my cycles resumed last month. Having 2nd cycle since delivery and bleeding is just not stopping. It's been 12th day for today and I am worried about blood loss ( bleeding is heavy- minimum 4-5 pads a day) . Have started feeling weak and it's become difficult for me to do daily activities including taking care of my LO.
Please pour in your suggestions what can be done.
Thanks in advance

Hi mommy... Post my second child I didn't have bleeding as it was after my first delivery... N when my periods started after 6 months, it was crazy... Exactly d way it's happening to u... It was as if I just now delivered a baby... Which was freaking me out... My gynaecologist ensured me it was normal... As for different moms the bleeding is different... Bt now after 8 months of my delivery it's become normal...
I would still suggest u to keep ur gynaecologist in d loop

Hey this is what our Baby chakra Mom Star Shan Singh has to say -

I wudnt hv taken any chance n wud hv consulted my gynac immediately

I had the exact same issue ,which I ignored for over a year and then started allopathy..it worked until I took the birth control pills, when I stopped t it created havoc...washing machine filled with stained clothes in a day....

What worked for me... Ayurveda...Consult a Kottakkal Ayurvedic doctor depending in your case ,weight, heath history she will give medicines...after three years I am finally having a regular and a happy period

to be honest even the doc told me it will take atleast for one cycle that is 28 days for medicine to work..but Thanks to God and the doctor ,it cleared off within 20 days of taking regular medicines..also I gave up nonveg to a large extent inclusive of eggs and fishes..ate may two three times in a month...and started walking everyday for 45 mins and proper sleep of minimum 7 hours

my gyno and ayurvedic Doc asked me to go for scan to check for fibroids and ultrasound of uterus, fallopian tubes, ovaries etc etc and all was fine ,then she started off on birth control pills ..it din work.then took same report and went to Ayurvedic doc..

Not trying to scare you, I had the same issue after my first born. I would have heavy bleeding for almost 3 weeks at a time. I tried allopathy(my husband being a pharmacologist), homeopathy and Ayurveda. Nothing worked for me.
5 years later, a friend recommended a gynaecologist. She prescribed Premulutin (the regular tabs we take to stop periods) for a month daily and from the following month had a perfect cycle. I conceived the second time and didn't have a problem since.
I suggest you meet a good gynaecologist and check what needs to be done in your case.
