I don't understand what to do. I have to join office next month and we got a nanny. my boy is screaming and crying his eyes out. I'm worried. I have been training her on how to take care but she is very slow and scared all the time. I'm trying not to be in the same room as her so that she will learn to manage. im so worried... frustrated... you can see fumes coming out of my head :(

keep calm.. u should have hired trained nanny who is much experienced in handling babies. Dont frustrate urself it will worsen the situation. tell ur nanny to play with ur baby first dance in frnt of him..sing songs inshort we have to b a joker..when ur baby is comfy with ur nanny gradually he will lyk the company of her..but most imp..have PATEINCE...gud luck👍

Have patience,  I know it's not easy for u and for ur baby. Take deep breath chill, u still got 21 days left don't worry.  Ask your nanny to observe how u calm baby,  Play with him.  It takes time and @Ramya shortly u have start weaning so go slow. Teach her properly. Ask her to sing some baby's favorite lullaby,  might help to create  bond between baby and nanny.  All d bst

should I pick him up when he cries or let her manage even if it's for a long time?

it's ok let her handle the situation n let baby get  used to her...it's good to keep nanny at least a month before u leave ur baby wid her..let them take their own to get adjusted to each other

i have the same situation have to join offc next month but my mother in law would be in charge of my daughter. see if u can convince either dadi or nani of ur dear child to come n take care of him for some time till the nanny learns how to do the job. alternatively u three should spend time together taking turns to play with him or feeding him.go for walks. once he wud feel safe with her ur prob is solved. do not leave them alone as both of them are new to each other n are scared. u r the one who can bring them together. al d best .
