Yes, many experience constipation issues especially in pregnancy. It is very important to take more fluids and water Intake. Even coconut water is good. Eating bananas has helped me a lot in this. Try to avoid spicy food, eat small meals in every 2hrs

constipation is due to the iron tablets u are taking...you drink plenty of water and consult your gynaec for medications and ask can you take iron tablets on alternate days

Chronic constipation does get aggravated during pregnancy. This is due to hormonal changes as well as the iron medications. Please ask your doctor to give you an iron supplement which has a laxative as a combination. Additionally it is also advisable to use a mild laxative or take Isabgol every night to ensure smooth passing of motions. Constipation can result in giving too much pressure as well as also piles which can then be painful.
