As far as I know, 38 weeks is a safe time to deliver. And in case of high BP, your doctor's decision is the best. Babies catch up weight later once you start to feed them, so need not worry on that front. Delivering a healthy baby is more important. Just trust your doctor and go with his/her advise.

Hi Harshada, high protein like paneer and boiled moong helps. Don't worry now, once the baby is delivered you can increase the weight. Take care wishing you a safe and healthy delivery.

Try to wait for labor to start naturally upto 42 weeks. seek a second opinion. baby will release a hormone when development is finished. It is best to wait. it is not safe to force babies to come before they are ready, unless a true medical need. try contacting healthy mother hyderabad or birth village cochin.

hi harshada...I totally understand what ur going through, but relax.even I had a high BP during my pregnancy ND my intake of food was very less. If ur bp is out of control it is safe to deliver the baby earlier as long as the baby is healthy.as far as I know only the birth weight is going to be less but they will soon gain after birth when we'll breastfed. see what the doc has to say.don't worry abt the babies weight rightnow.giving birth to a healthy baby is more important.all the best dear.
