Hi, my baby is 1 year 8 months. he is vomiting while traveling by car. I have given him ondem medicine recommended by his pediatrician but still he is vomiting. what all precautions I should take, so that he won't get vomited.

I think you should go back to your dr and tell that baby is still vomitting

Any experienced moms here who can help with car vomit Richa Chowdhary Harneet Khurana

hi Subhashree Sidharth Mishra
my son used to vomit when we used to travel by car.. there can be many reason to it which I found out on regular observation..
First - car perfume / air freshener in car.. kids don't take it well many times and even after giving them medicine they still vomit. either change the air freshener or remove it completely..
Secondly - don't give phone or any screen time to kid in car they might feel nauseated and hence they vomit.
Third - if your feed your child and then  starting your car travel then make sure you give enough time to settle your kid after food. if we hurry them to finish food or feed in hurry then the car movement make them throw up more. Check if any of these reasons are affecting your child... if problem still persist then talk to pediatric in detail... hope this helps.. Priya Sood thanks for tag..

thanks Richa. I will check all this.

hi this sounds like motion sickness . does this happen everything baby is in the car ? few things you can do is give the ondem 20 mins before sitting in the car. don't feed the baby immediately before or during the car ride

no idea, but i second the thot of going back to doc
