Q:

need help! I can barely sleep these days, I am up, wide awake till 12am easily these days. I usually am in bed by 10pm but without sleep. tried foot massage, dipping my feet in lukewarm water, nothing has worked till now. pls help what can be done to resolve this!



Please do not put that in your mind that you will not get sleep, Try to sleep well its most important part in pregnancy. I follow certain rules hope it will help you as well. 1. Keep the bedroom light dim from 7 pm onwards
2. No mobile phone or TV 2 hrs before sleep.
3. Do not keep your mobile phone anywhere near your bed, switch off the wifi if you have.
4. Pamper yourself with nice moisturising lotion.
5. Make sure your pillows, bedsheets and covers are clean , fresh and comfortable.
6. Even if you don't get sleep close your eyes and lie down,  you will ultimately get sleep.
7. Have 2 hrs break after dinner and go for small walk.

hi satyam, try reading or anything that relaxes u. this is very common. i cudnt sleep in my first trimester :(

same problem here puri raat bhar idhar udhar karti hu aur mrg me bhi walk karne chali jati hu but noon me try karti hu ki so lu

I guess our body is preparing well to be up at night once baby pops out :)
