Your baby is now almost fully grown. Since space in your baby's living quarters is now at a premium, you'll be feeling jabs and pokes from elbows and knees, mostly. And they'll be more vigorous (and also less erratic) than before because your baby is stronger and excitedly responding to all sorts of stimuli — movement, sounds, light and that candy bar you ate half an hour ago. Acrobatic tumbles are less likely now, but you'll continue to feel wriggling and turning, with a few pokes of elbows and knees thrown in.
If your little drummer's bongo-playing on your belly starts to be more than you can take, try changing positions:)
- Sit down if you're standing, or lie down on your side; the baby will likely change positions too.
At this point, you may even be able to interact with your baby: Next time you see a protruding something — a knee, perhaps, or a foot? — give it a gentle press. If the baby is game, you might see the limb get pulled back, then pushed out at you again. Wouldn't this be fun? :)

10-12 times. If you feel the movements are less, eat something sweet and check if the baby moves. Rush to the doctor if there is no movement for long number of hours and get your NST done.

You can feel about 10-12 kicks or movements in a day of 24 hours. If You do not feel kicks, You can have a small dairy milk or lime water and see the response. Alternatively sleeping on the left side can also help.
Quick tip - It's Good To keep a count of ur kicks. One of the other signs that You need to be careful in the 8th month is also frequent episodes of hardening or tightening of bump which settles with walking or changing positions.

I always found when I had my favorite drink the movements were more. As days pass the skin gets tighter, you should still experience atleast 10-12 kicks in a day :) try walking twice a day and eat healthy. All the best
