The key is to be firm and not necessarily scold. Set some rules and reunforce good behavior. Give a treat and a big clap when he does good behavior. Draw a star on his hand or give a sticker. Also understand the root cause. Maybe he wants attention and some activities. Keep him engaged and try to set a schedule.

No punishment scolding as such.. appreciate his efforts. engage both with some fun learning toddler activities. when crying give a simple hug n attention!

some children repeat the same naughty thing eg. hitting someone or snatching ,over and over inspite of repeatedly telling them not to and even scolding or punishing. what can be done in such cases?Is it a behavioural issue. (asking on behalf of someone )
